Today I was kneeling by my bed and praying for young people I know of and I thought I would write down what was running through my mind while I was praying for their concerns:
DEAR LORD, PLEASE HELP HIM / HER / THEM TO:
Put down the booze and pick up the Bible.
Put down the video games and pursue Your Voice.
Step away from homosexuality and instead pursue Holiness.
Stop smoking cigarettes and vaping and get to know our Savior.
Quit fornicating and pursue our Father instead.
Quit lying and come to the LORD.
Step away from recklessness and revel in our Redeemer.
Put down the porn and pursue passion for the Pure.
Stop tattooing and piercing and pursue a life intact and whole.
Move away from atheism and agnosticism instead adore our living GOD.
Put down filthy language and pursue talking to our LORD.
Stop reading and watching the occult and vile and open books of hymns and lift up voices to HIM.
Move away from defeat and disrespect and embrace the divine.
